Privacy Policy for Mantra Player

This Privacy Policy explains how Jantra Software Bt. ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Mantra Player mobile app (package com.mantraplayer.app) and related services (the "Service").


Our approach is to keep data to a minimum. Mantra Player does not require you to create an account or sign in, and we do not ask for your name, email, or other directly identifying information to use the app.


1. Information we handle

a) Purchases and subscriptions. Purchases (the ad-free upgrade and the Online Library subscription) are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details; Google handles payment. To grant and maintain access, we process the purchase token and subscription status that Google provides, and our server verifies them with Google's Play Developer API.


b) Advertising. The free version shows ads through Google AdMob. Google and its partners may collect and use certain device information and identifiers, such as your advertising ID, to provide and personalize ads and to measure performance. Where the law requires it (for example, in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads. See Google's policies:



c) Online Library content. When you browse or search the Online Library, the app requests catalog information from our API. When you download subscription-gated media, the app sends your purchase token so our server can authorize the download. Media you download is stored encrypted on your device.


d) Information stored on your device. Your repeat counts, listening history, app settings, downloaded media, and a cached record of your entitlement stay on your device. We do not collect this data except where it is needed to provide the features above.


e) Technical and log data. When your app talks to our servers, we may automatically process technical data such as your IP address, device and OS type, and request details. We use this to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and keep it running.


2. How we use information

We use the information above to provide and maintain the Service, grant and verify entitlements (the ad-free upgrade and the subscription), deliver and secure media, show and (with consent) personalize ads, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations.


3. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:


  • Google, for Google Play Billing (purchases and subscriptions) and AdMob (advertising).
  • Our hosting and content-delivery providers, who process data on our behalf to run the Service and deliver media.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it or where it is needed to protect rights, safety, and security.


4. Advertising choices

You can reset or limit ad personalization in your device's Ads settings (reset the advertising ID or opt out of personalization). In regions where we ask for consent, you can change your choice in the app's privacy settings.


5. Children's privacy

Mantra Player is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us such information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.


6. Data retention and deletion

Because the app is anonymous, we hold very little data. On-device data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data. We keep server-side subscription records only as long as we need them to provide the Service and to meet legal and accounting requirements. To request deletion of data tied to your subscription, email us at [sp@jantrasoft.com] and include details such as your Google Play order ID.


7. Security

We use standard measures to protect your information, including HTTPS for data in transit and encryption of downloaded media on your device. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.


8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where the law requires it, we take steps to make sure such transfers have an appropriate level of protection.


9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at [sp@jantrasoft.com].


10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we may add a notice in the app or on this page.
